help !!! trying to replace window crank

i totally understand how it works, but how do you get the door panel pushed back enough to get the old clip off and the new clip on? what am i missing here!?

You just need a clip removal tool, I don't know how to post pics but can give you a Snap-On part # and you can look it up on their website so you know what to look for. You can buy a generic brand at most parts store. All manufacturers put the clip on open end towards the handle arm [so you will slide the tool behind for removal] I highly recommend putting them back on this way to ease frustration should future service be needed. As for reinstall just put the clip on the handle and push it on.
