New Seats!

Just wanted to share a couple pics of the new seat on Ole Greenie and get your take on them. They even have lumbar supports! Does Grey work with the green?

Re: New Seats!

They look sharp. Gray, white and black go with anything.
They give you enough room in the cab?

Re: New Seats!

Will any new chevy truck seats fit in a 68 or only certain years?

Re: New Seats!

They look awesome! I want to do those or the 40/20/40 with the integrated seat belts. Where did you find those and can I be so bold as to ask how much they cost you?

Thanks. Room is not an issue. I suspect however that about an inch or so, front to rear, was lost. Fortunately, I'm not a big guy so it is a non-issue. I will mention though that to fold down the center console, the driver's seat must be moved up a bit to clear the rear tank as it is folded down. This will change when I relocate the tank.

This set was acquired out of an mid 90's GMC/Chevy SUV (Blazer). When I got the truck, the CST seats had been removed and replaced with a bench seat. I didn't ask why. Some things are just better not asked...or left unsaid. In hind sight, I do wish the original CST seats were still there. I would have worked with them to have them redone...console too.

I found these in Phoenix AZ. I'm sure you can find a set in just about any wrecking yard. Maybe the nerew trailblazer seats with the integrated seatbelts will work too!? This seat set cost me $300 but I wanted a really nice set that did not need to be recovered.

Overall, they are really comfortable and should be better when I bring power to them for the lumbar support.

Appreciate the comments!
