he says the only thing that it needs is a good carb cleaning but it will drive as is.

Congrats on striking the deal, looks like a great truck. I know I wouldn't have pulled a 6 out of mine if it had one, I've always had a soft spot for the old inline 6 engines. Plus as someone mentioned above, there is something very vintage and cool about them when you get some sweet old performance parts on 'em. I too will be awaitng more pics.

Screaming deal man! I looked at a c20 here with 85000 "original" miles and the paint was kinda rough but straight body 327/4speed and he wanted 4k and wasnt comming down.
