Which rear brake hose swapping rear ends?

I have a 69 6 lug that I am converting to a 71 five lug rear end. The parts books show two different hoses. I assume I should use the one for a 71 but you tell me.

They are different because they mount to different places on the frame and on the axle. If you are swapping the complete axle assembly just cut the mounting tab from your old axle and weld it to your new one. Then you can use all of your original stuff. The 71-72 has a bracket that is bolted onto the diff cover, but the hose goes to a different spot on the frame. I'll see if I can find some pictures to clarify.

The problem is the top tab to mount the hose is not there on a 71 and earlier frame. I have a 68 and can't figure out to use the frame hole or make something? The 71 mounts mid brace and not on the frame
