white roof question?
So I think that i am seeing a trend with the 67/68 trucks so im just gunna ask...
Is the "white cab roof only" a 67 only thing and the 68's came with the top of the door frames and windshield frames white as well as the roof?

My 72 C20 has white cab roof only, the doors are yellow.

Mostly correct. But I can't say for a fact because my 69 orginally came from the factory that way till I had it repainted. I don't know why it did. I bought it from the 1st owner in 79 and it hadn't been painted. I disliked not having the upper door white and changed it. My 69 was a custom ordered turquose/ white maybe thats why, they got lazy.. I haven't seen any except mine that rolled out of the factory like that though except 67's.

My 72 GMC is white only on the roof. It came from the factory that way.

My 71 GMC is white on the roof and door posts. The truck has original paint.

Yes in 67 the white was only applied to the roof, it did not extend down the "a" pillar or onto the door frames- the actual roof only got white. If you search member John Fabris I think his truck is painted in the correct scheme with white only on the roof.
