Knob removal

Looking for a quick response!!

How do I get the headlight knob and wiper knob off? I've got a 70 truck. I want to take the knobs off to take the instrument cluster out so that I can replace all the heater and AC duct work.

knobs

Wiper switch, small straight screwdriver from the side, look for small flat spot with screw in it. Lights, go under dash, on top of switch a small button will have to be pushed down while pulling knob out.

One thing with the light switch, pull the knob out like you want the headlights on and then push and hold the button down and the knob and rod will slide out. Remove the small bezels also.

Thanks.

I did the post, sat down and ate a quick dinner, and had the replies by the time I was done. The timing was great. Pulled the steering column out removed the cluster, put in some new ac/heater hoses, put the dash back in and installed the new tilt column this evening.

Man this is a graet board!!
