Thanks again guys.

Actually, it's the easiest paint job to care for I've ever owned. It's John Deere Blitz Black implement paint. Unlike primer, a quick wash with car soap and it cleans up just like new. It never seems to chip, scratch, fade or stain - never needs waxing and nothing seems to stick to the finish. It's usually covered in a light layer of dirt because our street has been undergoing sewer work for several months, so I don't bother washing it as often as it deserves. It's a strange finish to photograph. In real life when it's clean it looks like a flat-satin black color. When dirty it seems to be a tad more grey or brown, but in pictures it usually has a bluish tint.

Re: Congradulations to mark!!!!

Thanks for sharing the paint color, I was wondering if that was more than flat black. Very nice!! And all this time I thought Deeres were green or yellow.
I'd like to stop by some time and see it in person. I get thru Spokane 3 or 4 times a year. Where about in the valley are you?
Congrats,
Dean

In the JD world I believe the Blitz Black is mostly used for chassis parts rather than body parts. We're near Sullivan and Trent. If you want to drop by some time just shoot me a PM and I'll get you directions. Although I prefer driving the truck year round, if the winter is bad it goes into storage until the snow melts.

Congratultions Mark

Having not only seen the numerous pics of your truck here on the forum, but also in person, I say this is a well deserved recognition of your accomplishment.

Add another 60-66 to the TOTM list. Maybe we can get Josh to change the name of this forum.
Congrats Mark. Well deserved.
