1/2 or 3/4 ton
What's the difference between 1/2 and 3/4 ton Suburbans. Is the only difference the axles?

Depends on what yrs you are talking about.I have a 87 3/4ton Sub. It has a turbo 400 trans. and SF14 bolt.1/2 tons have a 10 0r 12 bolt and a 700R4 with overdrive.Also the rear springs are beefier.Along with the bigger 8 lug front brakes.

Pretty much what I said.Except 91's will have a an OD tranny also.4L60 I believe.
