Hey Bro,
I have a few because I decorate my garage with caps both 1/2 and 3/4 ton chevy and GMC from 68 through 76 mainly. I have fun restoring them as well. I will have to get the camera out and take some pics. Maybe we can trade or something because I want your 2 half ton 4x4 caps from your other thread. I was impressed at your collection in the pics you posted. I am looking for 1/2 and 3/4 ton 4x4 front caps 69 - 74 for my collection in relation to the one in my avitar.

Is this related to buying or selling parts or just for reference?I ask since this is the parts board and I see no mention of buying or selling.

Longhorn70, I have the other two 1/2tons that go on the rear and they are like new too. If you have some 68 gmc caps like what special k posted.get some pics. maybe we can trade.

Special K, My fault I should have put a wtt on the front of this. If you could do that? cool.I wasn't sure what the 67-68s looked like and I'm thinking I'll make my truck what it is, a 68GMC. Are you going to paint the red and black on yours?

Longhorn 70 heres the other two with the ones you bought. If your set is as good as these we can trade. The lips on the back are great. see pics. Theres only one bad point to one of these, it has three spots on it. I haven't tried to get them off.

Its cool Bro. On Hold is all good. I originally took it like maybe you were looking for 3/4 ton Stainless GMC and I have a few of those. I do however have 3 or 4 GMC 68 1/2 Ton caps. I will take ya some pics tomorrow anyway just to spice up the thread. I believe they are steel, painted type.

Wow, I can see the pictures you were talking about last night. Thanks goes out to Special K because I didn't know these caps came in stainless. I thought they were always paintable steel in this style of cap. The 69-76 caps look good in stainless. Those are few and far between as well being GMC. I am still interested in the 4x4 caps from the other thread. I will post there about them so I help keep this threads focus on your hunt for chrome or stainless 67-68 GMC caps. Hubcaps are like a treasure that have a story to tell and it is their story I enjoy reading about. Good Luck Chuck on your search for the style your looking for.

Do these things just pry off? Is there a special tool? I've tried the biggest screw driver I have and it was bending bad and the cap was not budging at all.

well my dad calls it the L wrench it has a socket at the end for the lug nuts and a huge screw diver (flat head) on the other sid eit came with all trucks it was part of the jack spare tire etc.. and the flat head part was to pry the cap off and the other end for lug nuts
