Re: LMC question?

Every bit of it is manufactured in China and shipped over. The warehouse is just located in the United States, or Kansas rather.

Very funny. I spent some time in and around Bejing China and the far east for more than 12 years. 95% of those I even spoke to on the street and in the street markets there speak better correct english than we do in our major cities. When I inquired where they learned english so well was told by several that were in their 60's. The goverment forced us to learn english starting at 6 years old in school because that's the international money language to be in the future. They were planning this global take over a very, very long time. Do you think the communist can only think 20 years in advance? Yeah right..If there is money in it and they can make it they will regardless what it does to the enviroment. Who cares if 3 million live a shorter life they have plenty more where that comes from.

Re: LMC question?

If you want some Chinese merchandise just go to Wal-Mart, one of China's largest customers.

Re: LMC question?

LMC has NO tech support and their phone staff is useless, I wouldn't count on any answer being correct. I am done with that place.

But yes, if I had to bet China would be it. Try and score an original then bring it back to life. That's some American pride for ya.

You know people bad mouth LMC all the time, but I have never once had anything against them. If anything was ever done wrong they took care of it no questions asked. And the one time I called them on the phone....they answered in just seconds and it didn't take but 5 minutes to resolve the issue. I'm sorry but LMC still stands strong with me...

Re: LMC question?

Very few parts for our trucks are made here. Even the GM parts are made elsewhere.
The only US makers I know of are Tapco for sheet metal and Mar-K for beds. There are some rubber makers here and some odds and ends makers here. But most is Tiawan or China
