HELP PLEASE with door glass install
Please help, I'm going crazy trying to get the doors back together. After the window is in, I can't get the vent in. I know it is 1st turned 90 degrees, but how do you get the vent past the opening between the window glass and the part of the frame that sits under the vent handle?
Thanks

I hope I can help you. You install the window and let it go right to the bottom of the door then insert the vent window like you said. Keep everything loose until you get the vent window in place. You may have to angle the window glass slightly to the back. Don't force it as it may cause damage. Take you time. Have a beer and it will go together. Good luck.

Thanks Western Star. I still can't get it. I've got the door flat on a table. I think I will install the door 1st, maybe that will be easier.

Vent window first. It's the only way I know to do it.

You install they way you took it out. If you put the vent window in first then there is no room for the window to slide in on the angle you need. Make sure the bottom guide for the window crank mech is not bolted up or you can't get the window low enough to get the vent window / window track in.

I have done it with the vent window in first. How do you think you replace a broken window? It's not by taking the whole vent window out, it'll go in just fine you just can't force it.

Exactly..........Glass doesn't bend. I would like to see someone take a window out without removing the vent window.

I would be interested in seeing the door window installed after the vent window is in place, also.

I always loosen the screws for the rear glass chanel. This way, it gives ya more room to work with.
