Re: 67-68 Cowl hood

Rg, i have a 67 with the 'chevrolet' chrome emblems on the hood. Is your cowl hood drilled for these or is it smooth? How tall is the rise? Vented in rear? Any pictures? shreeve1207@yahoo.com

Re: 67-68 Cowl hood

The front is clean (no holes for letters). It is a 2" cowl. I will try to get pictures tomorrow afternoon, had to work late tonight.

Thanks, Rg

Re: 67-68 Cowl hood

Do you need a hood? I have a new stock hood, it is not GoodMark but the other brand name they sell under. Looks like the same condition as yours. Would you be interested in trading even. I would like a cowl hood instead of stock. If you are interested, I can get pictures. Thanks, Todd

I understand. I figured it was worth a shot. Good deal but like you said I need to get rid of some stuff before buying more. Have a good weekend and ttt for you.

Re: 67-68 Cowl hood

I would be interested in a stock hood if you have it. That cowl hood is nice but don't need at this time.

Re: 67-68 Cowl hood

Both the stock hoods I have are needed for trucks I have. I have a couple of 60-72 hoods but I figure you need the 67-68.

Maybe Todd will sell you his hood?

I do have a fair set of front fenders. They are off of a GMC but are the same as 68 chevy fenders. If you are interesed I can put pics up tomorrow. Getting ready for a car show right now, so it may be later tonight before I'm back on the board.

Sorry, somehow I missed your post.

I'm 75 miles from Clarksville (about 1-1/2 hours) west on I-24 then west on 68-80

Shane, I have a front grill and the 2 front fenders for a 68. I'd need $40 each for the fenders and $35 for the grill. I also have some inner fenders I would throw in, they aren't perfect but are worth saving.

The cup on the passengers side is good but the metal behind it has a place that needs work (see pic) These have original paint so there shouldn't be any surprises.

Re: 67-68 Cowl hood

Shane, the guy who bought the hood is wanting the fenders and grill. I need to know something on those today.
