Bog issue

My 84 350 bogs when floored hard. Accel pump ? Recent complete tune up. It's done this for years and just like to get it fixed. Quadrajet 4bbl stock carb. Any ideas ? Suggestions ?

Re: Bog issue

OK no suggestions. But did fix rough idle. Theres a hose that runs from the charcoal canister to the air cleaner. Taking off air cleaner with truck running I disconnected it and put my thumb over the end of it. Motor idled sweet. So I plugged the hose. You can damn near balance a quarter on it now.

Re: Bog issue

Mine did that few a few days then it completely died on me, I replaced the fuel filter that's in the carb right where the line goes in and she runs great now.
