Fuel line for rear tank

Ok could use a little advice here, i have never installed a fuel tank in a vehicle before but i allways envisioned a solid steel straight fuel line that i would have to make a few bending adjustments to and flair the ends ect..

All i see around these parts has been a soft coil of 25' of line similar to what is shown in the Jegs on line catalog that i'm assuming is aluminum. http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS/JEGS-Univ...60825/10002/-1

Is this stuff worth using? will flaired ends hold up using a flaring tool? or should i be using the compression collets with it? or is there a better product i should be looking for? Thanks!!

Re: Fuel line for rear tank

I used the aluminum line. Easy to bend and works well. Have had it for years even with EFI (suck and return lines) and not one stitch of trouble.

Ok Thanks Bud thats what i wanted to know, i was concerned about leakage too if the fittings have to be removed and re-installed a few times. Would you reccomend a double flare? or compression fitting? Not sure what to use.

cdowns, yea i know not to use rubber hoses for long lengths, especially if close to the exhaust.

EDIT: cdowns i just realised i posted a link for rubber hose.. Woops!!!!! I was thinking i posted the aluminum fuel line sorry!
