Got my E brake cable on and its TOO SHORT!!
its for a 68 chevy truck yada yada yada... ugh, can I make a bracket further back/weld it on or what yal think?! I baked my MC in the oven today (without guts) hopefully by the end of the weekend maybe i'll be driving/stopping) Also, worked on my filler,I need to chop off the end of a stock tank, and picked up a new locking gas cap for 2$ at a yard sale, HUGE one tomorow but im going ridin ![]()

I had a world of trouble with my e brakes too. THe ones for my 68 were not even close. I ended up with two sets, Brake best, the cable was to long and the Wagner ones didn't have the correct length spring. So i took the springs off the longer cable and put them one the shorter cable.
E-brakes were the one thing my dad stressed since his truck rolled away from him when he was a kid. |
