in box fuel cell
My 77 shortbox project that I picked up recently came minus alot of parts including both of the gas tanks and some of the brackets. I have been thinking alot about installing a fuel cell that would fit up tight to the front of box. Anyone know of any good ones that are atleast 20 gallons? I know that I could easily install a blazer tank between the rails but thats not what i want to do at this point.

Re: in box fuel cell
Try looking in the Vendor Marketplace on this forum. There are two vendors that build tanks for our trucks.

Re: in box fuel cell
The american tanks look great but are a little too expensive, I will take a look at our vendors to see what they offer, anyone have exerience with some of their tanks?

Re: in box fuel cell
I don't think they have sold many 73-87 tanks to our members here. The 67-72 guys buy a lot from them because they want the tank out of the cab.

Re: in box fuel cell
I am planning to put my tank (20 gal from Summit) behind the rear differential.
