2" Lift Pics Please

I have a 72 K/10 LWB with 15" rally wheels. Want to lift with a 2" or 2 1/2" lift. And maybe 32" or 33" tires. Anybody got that setup?? Please post some pics if you do. Thanks

Re: 2" Lift Pics Please

I'm curious how much lift it takes to fit 33s or 35s...my truck has a 3" or greater body lift on it from the looks of it with 31s on at the moment. I really have no idea how much the body lift is because I don't know the stock body mounts height and it looks to be on a newer than 72 truck frame.

I have heard that 33s will fit at stock height if your springs aren't too degraded. I heard that they WILL rub if you're wheeling. I don't think 35s will fit without rubbing.

Here's my '72 Jimmy with 33s under old lift springs and new body mounts. I estimate lift at around 1.75" front and 2.25" in back.

Re: 2" Lift Pics Please

I would prefer to stay with a 32" tire rather than 33". But I am afraid that with a 2" lift there will be to much space from top of tire to top of wheel well. I also thought about re arching the springs instead of lift kit.

That looks really good. But if I went with 32" tire it would look like to small of a tire??

I only have 2 in blocks in the back but it does have the 3/4 ton spring pack so that may give it some more lift.
