Dropmember rear question.

Are the adjustable trailing arms for the '72 the same as the ones in the dropmember kit? I ask because I was looking at a '68 with rear leafs and I wanted to run the trailing arms now, then when I'm ready to do the sheetmetal, install the bolt in step notch.

The basic idea is to run the trailing arms and control arms now, install my air management setup, then do dropmember front and rear once the body is finished.

The main difference between Porterbuilts Truck-Arms are the amount of drop. The Truck-Arm DM rear kit includes separate bag mount brackets that relocate the rear bags to the notch 'bridge' allowing more drop vs. the springs OEM location between the T/A & the frame.

If you were to purchase the T/A's for use in the OE location, you'd need the required mounts on the T/A that the spring sits on. The DM kit (to lay frame) won't have these mounts on the T/A since the bag is relocated.
