Re: Gateway: 9NMCA World Street Finals
I traveled with the NMCA (and the former NSCA) for the last 15 years, but did not make it this year. Top ten finishes every year, with a best of 6th, 4th, 3rd (twice) and 2nd (twice). Never did win that elusive points championship, though.

My wife, daughter, and I were there Saturday. Lots of fast cars (especially LSX-powered ones) and there was a white '99-'06 model GMC SWB truck that was supposed to be there from La., but I never could find it in the pits. Anyone there see this truck?

It was real quick,... but I don't remember how fast. Plus,... it still had the column shift in it. Very cool truck.

Re: Gateway: 9NMCA World Street Finals
I never got to see the truck up close. I saw it in tow Friday on my way to work. The owner actually talked to one of my buddies when they stopped for fuel. The owner claimed that it runs 10.0s. I don't know if that's on motor or with a lil' help, though. Still fast either way.

Re: Gateway: 9NMCA World Street Finals
Here's a picture of the drag truck.
It was really fast,... and on drag radial tires.

Re: Gateway: 9NMCA World Street Finals
Dang!
Wish we could have planned it more in advanced to meet up with you guys. Yeah my friend is trying to get his '67 RS Camaro back together for the 15th Midnight Madness run. Not sure if we are going to make that deadline by the 15th but we'll see.

Yeah, it'd be cool to meet some of you guys at these local events like this. I didn't think to post my plans of going to this race until after the fact.
