A couple of nice 67-72 4x4's - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I went to a car show last weekend and there were 2 super nice 71-72 4x4's, and one more that was real nice as well. The first one I would like to know if this was a factory color. It is really cool as you don't see this color very often. It might not be a factory color, but either way, the truck wears it nicely.

I believe that is a factory color, but I don't know what it's called. Someone did a nice job on it though.

Special-k said it is a grape fruit and white in another thread I posted. I just noticed both the white one and the grape fruit one both have the under side of the hoods painted black. Was that done from the factory as well? Or was it body color from the factory? I'm kind of curious because I'm getting a new hood for my Longhorn and want to paint it before I install it.

Very nice trio. I am thinking of painting my '71 K10 like the yellow and white one. Always liked that color combo.

There is a yellow and white one in our neighborhood. Looks all original. If I seen the owner outside I will ask him to open the hood. I believe it will be yellow. Doug

The underside of mine is in its original state and it is flat black..firewall is body color
