Re: NEW Front fender seal kit

OK, I'm going to ask a stupid question. Where do these go? I bought my truck with no front end and am gathering front end parts. I didn't know there were any rubber seals on the fender.

These go on the side of the cowl of the truck, between the cowl and the fender. Each of these rubber pieces attach to a metal bracket with large staples, similar to the rubber A-arm splash aprons on Chevy cars. The brackets then attach to the col with several screws. From my experience, they were only foun that I partedd on Cheyenne/ Cheyenne Super trucks. (They are not necessary for fender install. Most trucks didn't have them.) I don't believe that the brackets are available repro. I have a pair from a 71 Cheyenne that I am installing on my 72 Army truck budgt build. I suppose their purpose was to quiet the passenger compartment from engine noise (?) (Unfortunately, I forgot to install them before I mounted my fenders.) I will post pics of the brackets if I can remember to take photos of them.
