brake booster help/ conversion

I wanna use all parts I can I have laying around garage but no luck getting the 83 1500 booster to bolt up on our 67 C10. Seems that the plastic piece on back of booster is bigger then the hole in the firewall. So any ideas on doing this swap guys? Thanks Brandon

Re: brake booster help/ conversion

Theres a guy on here from Washington State I believe that can build you a booster /master cyl combo complete that will be better than anything Ive ever used before .He built mine to 1 ton specs and when you are ready to stop it stops . Its the best thing Ive done to my truck so far. I can find his info if you like.

Re: brake booster help/ conversion

Brans72 ,Frank is his first name but he goes by pickmup on here .He is great to deal with and I love my brakes .My truck stops better than my 96 ford explorer with 4 wheel discs and all it is is the stock rear drum and front disc with Franks master /booster combo.I might be able to find his phone number tommorrow.
