Looks like I'll be keeping her!

Nevert could sell for what I was looking for so I'm just going to keep her and make her my own. I'm in a little better financial situation now.

Here she is original before the PO changed her look. I'm thinking about taking her back to a semi stock aperance. At least on the outside. Original paint maybe? I'll be leaving the 350 (she was a 6 at birth).

Any suggestions?

Thanks, The paint is not as nice in person. It was not clear coated and has some blemishes. The interior I just don't like. I want to go with a black interior, nicer seats, different gauge cluster, put 67 door panels istead of the 72 painted ones. I like the Dolphin gauges but not the plastic panel. Don't want any billet job either.

I do have some mechanical changes in mind. Such as disc front brakes, move the gas tank to the rear, and of course add a/c. It's too hot here without it.

Thanks, I have to paint it anyway so I was considering a color change. I like the white but it needs to be a more profesional job. This white is Linen White from Chevy '94.

I would. I love the stock look of that year.

I like the truck and your plans for it. I'd vote no insert on the grille also. That dash is worth decent money...maybe sell it complete and buy a factory style tach dash

Re: Looks like I'll be keeping her!

I say drive it and save for what you might want to do, I dont see anything wrong with it at all. However it is yours and it should reflect your taste. I have one of those 10-20ft paint jobs also, but my theory is if someone doesnt like it, then that is their issue.

Glad you are able to keep it and make it the way you want it. Looks like a very nice truck.

Re: Looks like I'll be keeping her!

It looks great as it is but do whatever makes you happy . I like the grill as is but I also like the stock grill. Whatever you do with it if it makes you happy thats all that matters. Either way it will be a nice ride.

They work fine, it's the panel I don't care for.
