72 K10 4X4 Exhaust Kit
I need to replace the exhaust on my 72 short wheelbase 4x4. It has headers I plan to keep. Are there dual exhaust kits available that work with a little cutting or welding or am I better of having a custom system installed locally?
I'm interested in 2 1/2" pipes. Gary |

Re: 72 K10 4X4 Exhaust Kit
I just bought a hooker kit through summit racing for my 4x4 jimmy. I wouldn't recommend it. They are supposed to send me a new tube to replace one that is bent wrong, the next 2 tubes were not expanded enough to fit over the next section, I won't know if there are other issues until I get the new pipe and can try to finish the install.
On my other truck I'll use a different kit.

Thanks.
I'd be interested in how the rest of the install goes when you get the replacement pipe. Gary |

Re: 72 K10 4X4 Exhaust Kit
I have the LMC system, it fit great on my stock manifold Blazer. It is made for long-bed trucks you just cut down the intermediate pipes for your truck. A few others around here have the same system.

Re: 72 K10 4X4 Exhaust Kit
Thanks Chris I'll take a look at LMC. I'd be curious how difficult converting the kit to headers may be.
Thanks Gary |

Re: 72 K10 4X4 Exhaust Kit
I got this kit for the Blazer, only really used the over the axle parts, but it worked out fine. I had already had 90's bent for the manifolds and was running 6 foot of straight pipe out to mufflers.
