Re: Q-jet rebuild and Ruggles book

I used Cliff's book to modify my qjet after upgrading the cam. Lots of good performance modification tips and tips to improve the idle circuit. You really do need to carefully read the book as some of the instructions can be confusing. My end result was good. I greatly improved the idle and transitions from the idle circuit to primary circuit and secondary circuit. Way different from working on a holley and think the book is worth it if you need to perform modifications. I would not buy it if I was only doing a rebuild.

thanks for the input. Mine is a totally stock application...still original in fact. So I'm not seeking any performance modifications, just a stock rebuild. the factory overhaul manual is quite detailed, so maybe i'll just go with that for now. Thanks again.
