I found an error in the colored wiring diagram
There are at tons of different copies of the C-10 color wiring diagram floating around on this forum and elsewhere. They all have the same mistake on the windshield wiper/washer area. The colored diagram shows a black wire from the switch connected to the second tab from the bottom and shorted to the yellow, when it should be all by itself one tab up and the yellow should be shorted to the other yellow wire. I discovered this because the PO cut off this part of the harness. I tried to find a picture of the proper wiring but all I found on this forum and also on the WEB was the color one, which is wrong. The picture in the shop manual is right.
NOTE: this picture is the one with the MISTAKE.

Good Catch! I had to stare at it a while to find the mistake.

Re: I found an error in the colored wiring diagram
Nice, looks like we're missing a power wire. They both look practically identical so in my case I probably would have not noticed it and then had a wiper motor not work. Which is exactly my luck, haha.

Re: I found an error in the colored wiring diagram
Of course the reason I found it was because I followed the colored drawing and my wipers don't work. Now I can't even reach it since it is behind all the other wiring and the A/C hoses. Oh, well......
Has anyone else noticed that the Light Blue and the Dark blue are also reversed? Which is correct?

Re: I found an error in the colored wiring diagram
I saw that before too and I just assumed it was a separate terminal because the diagram is so small. Thanks for pointing it out. The blue wires are for the two speeds but I'm not sure which is high and which is low. Did you blow the wiper fuse>
Here is a good site for the wiper motor.--http://rmcavoy.freeshell.org/electrical.html
