project rebuild 350 help
i have torn down the engine.had to remove the main caps first and had marked them took the crank out.it was hard to pull the pistons first.pulled all the rod caps and pistons are marked from 1-8.the only thing that worries me is i might have them out of order.i started the front of the block facing me and went right piston the left piston.so one two and so on.can a machine shop determine the sequence.which rod came from which journal on the crank.i concered i might have them mixed up.

Pistons are normaly numbered in order front to back. You got them all good.

On a GM 350 the Drivers side, from front to back, are 1, 3, 5, 7. Passenger side, from front to back, are 2, 4, 6, 8.
