Kustom Gauges in dash bezel
I would like to see how you put or mounted your after market gauges in your dash. Is it a bolt in or is all kustom work? I'd like to put new gauges in my truck but would like to see how some of you mounted them. Thanks in advance.

I bought a full kit from Classicdash.com with Phantom Autometer guages. IT was a tedious but not difficult install. I wanted to get rid of the aftermarket tach on the column and aftermarket guages under the dash. here is some before and after pics. any questions just hollar.
before ![]() ![]() preparing the new stuff ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() added an Ididit polished tilt column ![]() hope this helps. Dave Last edited by dmwphoto; 10-14-2010 at 06:06 AM. |

Re: Kustom Gauges in dash bezel
Dave that looks kool, but I plane on using the original guage panel. I have seen some on this forum, I just would like to know how other people mounted the after market guages. Thanks for posting.

Though I have gotten seriously side tracked with my '65 truck, here is what I am working on for my '68.

Chevy_Mike, do you have a build thread going? I want to see where you are going with that dash. Looks good so far.

Re: Kustom Gauges in dash bezel
Here's a couple shots of a set of Classic Instruments in a stock bezel. Actually, the gauges are mounted to an aluminum plate, and the plate is mounted to the bezel.
