Kustom Gauges in dash bezel

I would like to see how you put or mounted your after market gauges in your dash. Is it a bolt in or is all kustom work? I'd like to put new gauges in my truck but would like to see how some of you mounted them. Thanks in advance.

Re: Kustom Gauges in dash bezel

I bought a full kit from Classicdash.com with Phantom Autometer guages. IT was a tedious but not difficult install. I wanted to get rid of the aftermarket tach on the column and aftermarket guages under the dash. here is some before and after pics. any questions just hollar.

before

preparing the new stuff

added an Ididit polished tilt column

hope this helps.

Dave

Re: Kustom Gauges in dash bezel

Dave that looks kool, but I plane on using the original guage panel. I have seen some on this forum, I just would like to know how other people mounted the after market guages. Thanks for posting.

Though I have gotten seriously side tracked with my '65 truck, here is what I am working on for my '68.

Re: Kustom Gauges in dash bezel

Here's a couple shots of a set of Classic Instruments in a stock bezel. Actually, the gauges are mounted to an aluminum plate, and the plate is mounted to the bezel.
