Smile rear brake hose connection

Has anyone used a rear brake hose from Napa Auto, part #36542 to replace a 1967 original one?

The Napa part above refers to a 1968 not a 1967. The end that goes into the three-way on the rear axle on the original hose is beveled on the inside and the outside. The hose from Napa is beveled on the inside only.

I just spent two months sandblasting and painting every part of the rearend on my 67 C10 and do not want brake fluid leaking all over everything.

So please take a look at the question above and respond if you have come across this situation personally.

Also, can anyone tell me if there is a hose I can purchase that is the same as the original, beveled on the inside & outside at the axle connection?

Both the new and the original hoses are between 22 & 3/4 to 22 & 7/8 inches long.

Thanks,
Guy

Re: rear brake hose connection

I don't exactly remember the specifics, but I had an issue with the hoses at one of the part stores. So, I ended up getting one from this place because they are local and I wanted to get it back together (I'm sure there are a lot of vendors on here that can help you out also) :

Part #: 3910709
Description:
BRAKE HOSE

REAR FLEX HOSE
Price: $21.95

It was an exact copy of the original in every way. Here's a pic from their site:
