question: is there any differences in the body itself? i have a 72 blazer and i found a front clip from a 67 c20, would these be interchangable?

The 67 won't have a marker light. That may not be an issue for you, but just wanted to point it out.
Also - the whole front clip is interchangable as a complete unit, but the fenders will not work with your 72 grille, and the hood is different as well. If you are swapping front clips you are good-to-go.
If you are piecing the two together give us more details and we can point you in the right directions.

Re: c10 - c20 - c30

K/5 & 10-30 sheetmetal is the same from the cowl forward. The only difference in doors is Blazer/Jimmys have no window frame and Suburbans have squared window frames.Quarter panels/bedsides vary as the eye can see and Suburbans have their own tailgates and rear lenses. The thing to watch on front clips is the 67/68 Chevys hood, fenders, grilles, and core support vary from 69-70,so when interchanging all parts must be changed.GMCs fenders and grilles are all the same fit & interchange). They interchange with 67/68 Chevy fenders. The hoods and core supports changed the same as Chevys in '69,yet the grilles can only interchange provided the grille top bar matches the hood. Now that's not very confusing,is it?
In '69 when the hoods changed they were shortened.Chevy changed the fenders and GMC made up the difference in the grille top bar/surround.
