Show me your lowered long beds!
I'm working on a 71 long bed for a lady and need ideas on lowering and tire/wheel options. We don't want anything radical, just a decent drop and rims not over 20".. Please post how much your truck is lowered and rim/tire sizes. Here is a pic of the truck in its current condition, but it will also have a Gaylords hard tonneau on it once painted. Thanks in advance for any idea/photos....

Maybe a little too radical.

Re: Show me you lowered long beds!
copy/paste the link in my signature. The old longhorn is what I call "loosely" a 3/5 drop. it also has a 1 1/2 " body drop, & a 4" chop top. 29" tall tire (rear on a 15 " wheel,& a 28" tire front also on a 15" wheel).Yes I do have the scars left from the threads in my knuckles for all that work crazyAL

Re: Show me you lowered long beds!
Zoomin, that truck looks GREAT and exactly what we are looking for. Where is the best place to get Coys wheels? I thought about Torque Thruster II's, but those look even better! Are those 8" wide?

Re: Show me you lowered long beds!
Got mine off eBay, they came mounted and balanced.
I corrected my post since you copied it - 18's all the way around. 8's on on front and 10's on back.

Re: Show me you lowered long beds!
Ive posted this a few times, but you asked. 4 inch drop springs with a two inch block in the rear. Tires are 15's but don't know the numbers off hand.
