Is this mod- cool or not cool?

Super Cool! looks like it's supposed to be there, matches the truck, and the whole truck looks like a crazy resto mod, 7.4l... great colour combo, a build thread would be sweet to see.

My main question is whether or not you need a sim card to make all the functions work. GPS can transmit location but to my knowledge it can't transmit much else (I could be wrong.) If the alarm requires a sim card then a new line must be added to an existing cell plan (t-mobile or ATT are the two that immediately come to mine with sim cards) in order to allow it to fully function.

I will likely purchase the Viper Smart Start system for $400 or so and the service is $99 for three years. The savings is about 200 over the cost of adding another sim to my account ($10/month plus any services to add a line.)

Sorry for hijacking the thread, just trying to find out if this needs the sim card to work fully. I like the GPS feature this has that the Viper system does not.
