Huge bummer too..I have some nice pretty ones for the one ton.
Naaa, screw that, i'll just shove my finger way up in there to open it up. This turd already inherited the glass packs that were intended for the longhorn...and thanks to the cop I had to install them (it was too loud, I will admit that)
Anyone else's doors all kerfagled too? This is actually the same way the drivers door was when i got the truck 2 1/2 years ago. This handle was off the blue longhorn.

Yup one of mine did that (passenmger side). I think the driver side will soon join yours...but I got my replacement already....Just waiting for the paiting day or fall apart day...which ever comes first.

My driver side did that. I just put it in, and put a piece of duct tape over it when it was fully extended. This way it didn't fall out nor was it always pushed in. It worked great for a temp fix.

Same here. Driver side - didn't fall out. Difficult to reach in the open. So...I shaved em. Just hope my solenoids hold up.

I guess some time this week I'll put the nice ones I have put away on the one ton and install the crappy leftovers from the one ton onto the GMC.
I guess that would be a good tiem to get my chrome wing vents out of teh GMC and into the longhorn too.

i actually had to purposely break one of mine... the passanger side one stuck one day and neither handle would work, something was jammed up... smacked the button and broke it and poof door came open perfect. the button is still wedged in and i use it to open the door

when i bought my 2wd the button was broke and they left the wing window loose to reach around and open the door

Piston, (and all the others who have PM'd me) thanks for the offer. I'll just swap all mine around and get it worked out. Tearing apart these doors to swap good parts from the GMC and install them in the Longhorn has been on my things to do list.
