Re: Chevy COE custom made camper
I saw that at Puyallup. Very neat looking rig. Looks like he is making the rounds with it.

Re: Chevy COE custom made camper
Hate to be a naysayer. I love the front end - the actual COE end. The rear reminds me of the Oscar Mayer Wiener Wagon. Sorry.

Re: Chevy COE custom made camper
The sheet metal of the cab is stock. I love the old cab over cabs on a lot of the 50s and earlier trucks.
And the rear does look a lot like a wienermobile lol. Btw, I would trade all my junk to have a wienermobile as my daily driver =)

Re: Chevy COE custom made camper
That is awesome. It looks like a pre-war airstream clipper mounted on the back of it.

It is an awesome truck, bu doesn't look too practical. I would think that there would be a step that would lower down hydraulically to enter he camper portion. Maybe there is, bu it wasn't down to keep people out (?) |

Re: Chevy COE custom made camper
I remember when hot rods were dangerous and sex was safe. Are they supposed to be practical now, too? The truck's from out of Canada so that may explain why getting too hot wasn't a concern. There certainly was plenty of foresight put into such a build. It was built by a friend of deceased member East Street Lowlife.I can't recall his name now but I believe he became a member here, too.
