Re: Heavy duty bumper

This may not be what you are looking for but it is a 10" drop center Reflexion with a class 5 B&W receiver hitch.

Re: Heavy duty bumper

Beautiful truck. Nothing like a lifted dually. Now if only you were a hot chick it would be perfect

Yea I like those for rear but am thinking maybe a new route this time around. I had a 79 and it had an awesome front steel bumper that was made before I got it. I would hit trees while mudding on purpose and knock em down (dead ones) and didnt ever dent that thing. This time around Im thinking same thing with a little different design. Thinking bout running a kick back or return going back towards truck halfway down or something. I got an 85 this time around...actually 78 with 85 cab.

Re: Heavy duty bumper

This thread from a while back has some, including pics of my homemade one.

To quote myself: "Used a stock bumper as a starting point to build off of. Made a step-bumper for the rear in the same style. It's a little plain but I plan to cut some more angles in it when I re-do the truck next year. Maybe some lights, too."

I built a similar one for the rear.

Re: Heavy duty bumper

I like a bumper you can walk around on while you work on your truck. Freelancegenius, great work. All you need now is a guard rail around it to keep from falling off!

That was one of the reasons I made it that wide.

Delaware!? A lot farther north than that, southern Ashland County.

And to stay on topic, the rear bumper --
