K30 fuel line routing

Hello all,

Bending the new lines for the K30 project this week. Noticed the factory feed line ran outside the frame though (return was inside). Frame was originally under an ambulance, so its a 135" WB cab-and-chassis frame (454, TH400, NP205). Was this maybe for heat reasons with the big biock, or a cab-and-chassis thing? All other K10s and 20s I've seen have had all lines routed inside the rail. Planning on using a Suburban or Blazer tank, so it'd be difficult to run it outside the frame the whole way back (especially with a dump sub-carriage). Run it inside, or as original?

Thanks in advance,

Joe
