Anyway to lay factory crossmember and not arms?

Anyway I lay my factory crossmember and not the arms? If so what arms will work? I currently have 1971 suspension, 3" drop spindles, upper plates, 2600 bags, 27" tall tire.

On my bro's C10, he has lcas that mount in a recessed area of the crossmember that was cut. They are from Turner Enterprises, which isn't around any longer. The xmbr is also sectioned 1.5" in the pic. I don't know if any other lcas mount this way.

I dont see how a section c-member will allow it to not lay arms unless you sectioned it so much so that the frame would lay before. In which you'd be better off z'ing the frame because a c-member drop that big will cause alot of binding issues.

Mine lays frame. 1 1/2 taken out of the crossmember, dropped spindles, orginal arms modified w/bags.

Does this set up work good for you? I had a buddy with the same turner set up and it kept the camber positive all the time.

The truck never made it past this stage. He got the upper arms too which have threaded ends with a lot of adjustment. The camber looks visually good with a lot of room to go either way, but we never measured. If anything though there was a litte negative camber at full drop and about straght up at full tilt.

Once get gets back into the project, he's going to dump it all and get a drop member. There's a modified MII rack on it now for steering, but he doesn't trust it, and figures with the lack of fab skills, it's best to be safe.
