cool chain cover

Thanks to my wife and her sewing machine. It's made from outdoor fabric.

now just dip the hook in the rubberizing stuff they put on pliers to keep them from chipping the paint as you motor down the road..
eastwood(among others) sell it

you could put some tight fitting clear tubing over the hook, that would keep it from chipping and rattling. That looks very nice!
