The Corvette guys will buy the 512 blocks all day long.
They deck the blocks and re stamp them with the Corvette suffixes. I sold a bare block 15 years ago for $500 cash to Pro Team Corvettes in OH. 427 Impalas are pretty darn rare in their own right. I don't see you losing money on this one. |

A friend of mine had what we think was the only '68 427SS Impala this side of the atlantic until recently when he sold it to fund building another Impala into a drag car.
