1971 Cheyenne SWB 2wd
Although I wish it was, this isn't my truck. It is currently being built by a good friend of mine, Marvin Saxton. He own Golden Gate Truck Parts and has an excellent resource for me over the years.
The truck is about complete. It is a 1971 Cheyenne Short bed fleetside 2wd. Price should end up being around $12K to $14K (don't take my word for it but I believe that is the range he is thinking). He usually has a buyer for his trucks well before they ever get to this stage. His reputation earns him a loyal following including myself. I'm posting this on a whim so if you'd like more info., give him a call and tell him you heard he had a truck in the works and I'm sure he'd be happy to answer you're question. He has stated in the past that he wouldn't want to sell a truck without the buyer checking it out first, i.e. e-bay, so a local buyer would work out best or someone who could come out to Golden, CO and check it out. Marv has been building these trucks literally since the 70s. I consider him my encyclopedia of 67 to 72 trucks. That is his specialty and all he deals with! Marvin Saxton ph:303.279.1720 |
