1996 Z71 single cab stepside
I've owned this truck for six years. Every few months someone will stop and ask if I will sell it, but I always say no. I've seen similar trucks with outrageous price tags, but I don't know what mine is worth. If I knew, I might say yes next time.
Whats it worth? A 1996 Single cab stepside Z71. 6000 miles on rebuilt 350. Engine built by Kim Barr Racing Engines, bored thirty over, hypereutectic dished pistons, steel billet cam, heavy duty oil pump, new valves, new timing gears and chain, ARP hardware, federal mogul gasket kit, high volume water pump, four core heavy duty radiator, almost all engine management sensors are new, MSD ignition components, K&N FIPK cold air intake, energy suspension motor and tranny mounts, Doug Thorley street legal headers, Magnaflow high flow cats, Flowmaster super 40, and increased exhaust pipe diameter to 2.5 inches. The rest of the truck has 195,000 miles. Paint and body are in good shape, absolutely no rust. Truck has always lived in North Texas. Interior is ok, normal wear. Alpine radio and speakers. Trailer brake ready with 7 pin connector and class V hitch. Bed liner and tool box. 3 inch body lift with 33x12.50 BFG's. Light bar with four pro-comp off-road lights. Give me your honest opinion. |

Re: 1996 Z71 single cab stepside
I would guess 4500-5500 would be tops. Most guys buying trucks for that price want them stock or extra cab IMO. and with the price of 99+ trucks coming down the older body styles are going for less
Is the trans and rear end orig? Good luck with the sell |
