heater core problem
hey guys ive never been on this part of 67-72chevytrucks.com but i need some help my buddy has a 94 chevy blazer with a 4.3 vortec motor well the heater core is leaking and im gonna help him replace this tursday. But i dont know where to start on the removal of the heater core on his truck, becouse its so new and im use to my 77 chevy so its not that complicated on mine. I was wondering what was the easyist and fastest way to remove a heater core (couse i dont want to kill my whole day changing out a heater core)

It involves removing the dash cap and lowering the steering column. After that it is pretty much straightforward. Bring your lunch and buy a Haynes manual. IIRC it took about 10 hours on my buddies 95 S10.

a 95 s10 is completely different than a 94 blazer, the blazer is the old square body style
you dont have to take the dash out all. just loosen the screws for it. and pull the dash straight back a few inches on the pass side. there is also a little access door in the back of the glovebox too. then theres just taking the plastic cover off and removing the core |

Sorry about the mis-advise, I hope it goes well. The new body stlye is alot harder.
