Looks Great! I always liked a solid tinted back window on a truck. Only wish the PO of my truck had never installed a slider. All I ever got from having the slider is a front seat full of leaves.

haha, my rear slider doesn't close either, but I like it, so I am gonna fix it and leave it. I love the reflectiveness of your tint... If I were ever to lower my truck and paint it reflective black, I would definitly tint my windows 5% as well as it would go really well with the black...

Dam Eric! $50 for the glass AND installation?!?! DAAAMN! EVERY place around here wants around $150 for the glass & install! Buut...ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm gonna get my rear tinted for now ($45) then when I get new sidewindows and windshield I'm gonna go get those tinted too.
Tyler,
In CA we can tint our back window as much as we want, and we COULD tint the side windows down to 35% without TOO much trouble. Trust me, I have 35% side window tint on all my cars (with 5% on the rest of the windows!!)
P.S.- I'm jealous of Eric

I have 5% on the back and rear sides of my extended cab, on top of the factory tint and I hate it!!! Try backing up to a trailer at night....not!!! I think I'll go with 20% on the back after I replace the slider on my 83 with a one piece, but the sides have to 35% here in Texas....Funny thing, you can get away with no emissions what-so-ever, but just go ahead and try to get a state inspection with 20% on the sides....funny ain't it....

You don't understand. I have the psyco dyke camero ***** lady after me. (I beat her in court over a ticket) But I also have an uncle who will right it off . . . did you do 5% on the top of the windshield? (Both Tim & Eric) I'm glad we don't have state inspections - just everything else!

Look! New smileys!

well, i was gonna have a strip done at the top, but yesterday they told me it would be $25 bucks extra, so i said no thanks(since i didnt have the money then)

so today i go back in there to have them redo the pass. side glass since they got a gnat stuck between the flim and the glass:p and another guy tells me that it would have only been $5 bucks more for the front

Why dont you like the slider window? I have a new one that came with my parts truck that I was going to put in but it looks like every one likes the solid. Is there a good reason for this or is it just a personal liking?

I don't like the solid window because I don't have AC and I have to have my windows rolled down all the time. I can get better ventalation with the slider window.
