Re: Dropped Spindle Issue

I'll be waiting right here, since my truck project is on hold.

Re: Dropped Spindle Issue

My invoice # is 248859A customer # is 54274. Well i'm sure there is something wrong with mine. I bought new ball joints (went back last night and verified the joints at the parts store) The new joints fit the old spindle and should fit the new ones

Ok so you are saying the balljoints you bought at the parts store fit the old spindles but not the new drop spindles? What is the part # of the balljoints you ordered?

Re: Dropped Spindle Issue

Part # should fa903, if that fit the old spindle correct but not are new spindles, then return the spindles. Thanks

Re: Dropped Spindle Issue

Check out McGaughy's or Early Classic Enterprises. I've used both and never had a problem like this. If you can send yours back that is.

Re: Dropped Spindle Issue

I pulled some spindles off of another project same brand Western and same year model, these are about 1.5 or 2 years old. Fits like a glove no interference at all doesn't bind even a full extension. The forging on the top ball joint pad is different it is machined much closer and the ball joint stud is just right needs no washers. Hope i can return the bad ones
