brake lite still coming on
I just finished changing my rear drum brake shoes, cylinders, the drum itself and hardware. But my Brake lite on the dash still comes on. Why and how do I fix it?

Your dash brake light is still on because the the sensor in the proportioning valve hasn't centered yet. I found in the manual that it says to exert extra pedal presure and it will center and the light will go out. It could also just be full of crud/rust and not want to move like it should.

To help persuade it to move, have another person apply light pedal pressure, and then crack the brake lines loose one at a time AFTER the prop valve until the light goes out.
