Parking breake cable replacement

Im trying to replace the parking brake cables in my 71 2wd short bed. The PO had completely removed them. What I need help with is where does the front cable, coming from the pedal, attach to the frame and where/what does the front rod and the two guide pieces for the intermediate cable attach to ? If any one has any advice or pics that would be great. I cant find any obvious place to attach these things. Ive figured out where the intermediate cable routes through the frame after attaching to the rear cables, but thats as far as I have got Thanks for any help

Re: Parking breake cable replacement

I believe it comes out of the cab on the outside of the frame rail, then goes into a hole ( kinda goes through and snaps in place) in the frame rail. This is how my 66 and 65 were, I am hoping the 72's are close or the same. Hope I am helping.

Re: Parking breake cable replacement

I was actually using that page from the catalog as a guide, unfortunatley it dosent show where some of the stuff is attached. I did figure out where the long rod attaches but Im not sure about everything else. It would be nice to figure out where that front cable attaches and maybe I could figure out the rest Ill go Ill try looking along the frame rail like you suggested Thanks for all the help
