shock questions

looking for a set of shocks fo my 67 lowered 1/2 ton. it has a 2" drop spring in the front and a 3" in the rear. i called cpp to order the kyb's but they told me those were discontinued bc they were too soft. i want a nice shock thats made for a lowered ap but i like the dust shields which the cpp shock does not have. any recommendations for me? thank you.. joe

Re: shock questions

Summit racing has "sport truck shocks". They're sold with the bushings, but they aren't installed into the eyes of the shocks. Toxic Shocks are stout and stiff. I have the KYB's from ECE on my '69, but it was lowered with spindles up front. That keeps the shock length as OEM length. Shorter springs up front will mean you need shorter shocks. Check out other vendors, too.
