electric fan ideas????/carb rebuild

so my buddy has a set of electric fans hes selling to me for 20 bucks....good deal i think...dont have any brackets yet, but another buddy has some aluminum scraps lying around....i was wondering if anyone has pictures of their electric fan setups???

so i rebuilt my 1406 eldebrock carb today....wasnt as bad as i thought it would be...defenitly wouldnt take my truck into get that done..lol...it was my first one so kinda bragging lol...my carb was so bad it was throwing my timing off and making it run like crap...runs like a top now.

so ive got the fans and am wanting to install them today but havent gotten anything...does anyone know a good way to mount these? and how to do so?

what year is the truck? i think 73-80 are easier becuase they have the metal top bracket. u have pics of the fan?

kind OF on topic, but i recomend running a fan relay.

they draw alot of amps and can burn through switches

the first one is the pic of the fan bracket i made today...i made it out of a aluminum ladder and some scrap metal my neighbor had lying around...it turned out pretty sweet....cant really tell from the pic tho...but ill be taking more as i put it in tomarrow...the rest is the truck ive been working on...not too bad for a 500 dollar truck....alright well my pics wont load of my truck...but i have pics in my other post if ya wanna take a look at those...lol

i got the fan from a buddy of mine...he has a relay set up on them alread...i dont really know how to wire it up...but im going to be doing it tomarrow.

google it if you are talking about wiring. there are a few ways to do it, just make sure you use a relay
