great work on the truck! I am very interested in that gas tank. What sending unit did you use? wouldn't a universal one be too long and a stock one for the era 49-52 the wrong ohm?

Thanks a lot! When I get a minute tomorrow, I'm going to have to check out yours a little more too. By your avatar, it looks like a similar color. We used a universal type sending unit. I'll check on the exact details tomorrow as well. It's been so long since we did that part of the build, I've forgotten the details.

As promised, here is some info on the fuel sending until. It is a Classic Instruments fuel sender - part number SN38. I believe we got ours on Ebay. It looks like they are still on there for the same price we paid which was $42 shipped. They are adjustable from 6"-24". It's not fully tested yet in our app because we haven't started wiring yet. But we hope it works as advertised. Seems like it should.
