Heavey metal
I have a 1967 C10 stepside short bed.
Does anyone know the gauge size of the original sheet metal on the sides of the bed? I need to weld a patch into the sheet metal on the bed sides between the front of the rear fender and the front of the bed. Thanks, Guy58 |

Re: Heavey metal
12ga. sounds way too thick at over .100
Later model vehicles are thinner, somewhere around 19 or so, but I can't imagine that the older stuff is any thicker than 15?
